Project Zek is a free EverQuest emulator built around the intensity of the original Sullon Zek: three factions, no level restrictions, no safe zones, and every kill on the record.
Project Zek recreates the competitive spirit of EverQuest's harshest PvP ruleset, with modern tracking and quality-of-life on top.
Three warring factions — Good, Neutral and Evil. Your deity picks your side, and everyone else is a target.
The entire world is a battleground. There are no guard-protected havens and no zone you can idle in safely.
Engage anyone, at any level, anywhere. Point rewards scale with your target, so punching up pays.
Earn points for kills against opposing factions and spend them on quakes and corpse summons. Die and you forfeit a share.
Form a guild, coordinate with your faction, and climb the guild standings measured by share of server-wide kills.
Quakes run on your team's pooled points, not your own. Once the faction total crosses the threshold, turn in tokens to set one off when it suits you and raid targets respawn across the server.
The deadliest players on the server, ranked by career points earned against opposing factions.
Screenshots submitted by players across the server. Every kill is logged; the best ones get framed.
Players can attach a screenshot to any of their kills from the gallery. Yours could be the first.

UpdateProject Zek is deliberately unforgiving. Read this before you pick a deity.
Factions matter. Your deity assigns you to Good, Neutral or Evil. Your allies are your only protection.
No safe zones. The entire world is open. There is nowhere to idle without risk.
Corpse looting. PvP kills allow limited looting of coin. Equipment stays safe.
No experience loss. Dying in PvP costs you points, never experience.
Earn points. Defeat players from opposing factions. Bonus points for high-ranking targets and players on long kill streaks.
Lose points. You forfeit a fraction of your points each time you are defeated.
Spend points. Buy corpse summons with your own points. Good and Neutral only — Evil cannot summon corpses at all.
Trigger a quake. Quakes run on your team's points, not your own. Once the faction total crosses the threshold, turn in tokens to set one off when it suits you — raid targets respawn across the server.
Point scaling. Rewards depend on your opponent's level and recent activity. Hunting active, high-value players pays best.
